The Middle Men has been working successfully with Elia for five years. We are therefore excited to continue this partnership, and even take it up a gear. Since the 1st of June 2026, we have been supporting Elia’s project communication across the whole of Flanders.

Who is Elia?

Elia Transmission Belgium is the operator of Belgium’s electricity transmission grid. This grid comprises a total of more than 8,903 km of overhead lines, underground and subsea cables across Belgium. Today, we are in the midst of an unprecedented energy transition, and as a driving force behind this transition, Elia must design, implement and manage projects all at once.

What does the assignment involve?

The Middle Men will support Elia’s project communication across Flanders. We will be focusing on a strong strategy and approach that tackles the challenges of today and tomorrow, and is supported by the entire organisation. An effective way of communicating with stakeholders and key target groups, and a sustainable partnership between Elia and The Middle Men.
